Spring League Information
Listed below is key information pertaining to all LS Youth Baseball Spring Leagues. All leagues are co-ed and are grade based with the exception of the Challenger Division. Please note that field locations may be subject to change depending on availability.
Pre-K Explorer (Sudbury)
Eligibility: Rising Kindergarteners in Sudbury (those entering Kindergarten in Fall 2023)
Purpose: A fun and enthusiastic introduction to the game of baseball for all boys and girls entering Kindergarten
Commitment: 1 day / week (1 hour)
When: Saturday mornings from 9:00 – 10:00
Season: April 29, 2023 – June 17, 2023
Location: Curtis Middle School

T-Ball (Sudbury)
Eligibility: Sudbury Kindergarteners
Purpose: Our T-Ball program goals are for the kids to have fun, meet new friends and learn the basic skills of catching, throwing, and hitting a baseball
Commitment: 1 day / week (1 ½ hours)
When: Saturday mornings – 9:00 – 10:30
Season: April 29, 2023 – June 17, 2023

T-Ball (Lincoln)
Eligibility: Current (2022-23) and Rising (entering Fall 2023) Lincoln Kindergartners
Purpose: Our T-Ball program goals are for the kids to have fun, meet new friends and learn the basic skills of catching, throwing and hitting a baseball
Commitment: 1 day / week (1 ½ hours)
When: Saturday Mornings from 10:00 – 11:30 (after Lincoln Soccer)
Season: April 29, 2023 – June 17, 2023

Eligibility: 1st Graders
Purpose: Coach pitch developmental league with the emphasis on fundamental skills development. No keeping scores, standings, etc.
Commitment: 2 days / week (1 practice & 1 game)
When: Weekday evenings (5:45 start) & 1 weekends
Season: Mid-April to Father’s Day Weekend
Location: Lower Featherland Right, Noyes School Field, Crime Lab Fields (Sudbury) & Smith Fields/Codman (Lincoln)

Eligibility: 2nd Graders
Purpose: Evolution of A1, a coach pitch developmental league migrating to kid pitch (where appropriate) as the season progresses
Commitment: 2 days / week (1 practice & 1 game)
When: Weekday evenings (5:45 start) & weekends
Season: Mid-April to Father’s Day Weekend
Location: Lower Featherland Right, Center & Left, Noyes and Crime Lab (Sudbury plus Smith (Lincoln)

Eligibility: 3rd Graders
Purpose: Kid pitch developmental league where coaches accompany Pitchers on the mound
Commitment: 3 days / week (1.5 practices & 1.5 games)
When: Weekday evenings (5:45 start) & weekends
Season: Mid-April to Father’s Day Weekend
Location: Lower Featherland Right, Center & Left, Noyes and Crime Lab (Sudbury) and Smith (Lincoln)

Eligibility: 4th Graders
Purpose: Kid pitch developmental league. AAA Introduces limited stealing, keeping online scores & standings, formal playoffs and an All Star game
Commitment: 3 days / week (1 practice & 2 games)
When: Weekday evenings (5:45 start) & weekends
Season: Mid-April Father’s Day Weekend

Majors
Eligibility: 5th Graders
Purpose: Kid pitch developmental league building off of AAA concepts. The Majors introduces stealing home.
Commitment: 4 days / week (1 practice & 3 games)

Intermediate
Eligibility: 6th & 7th Graders
Purpose: Migration to the 50’ / 70’ diamond as a transition from the youth fields to the 90’ diamond. Leading, balks, etc. are introduced.
Commitment: 4 days / week (1 practice & 3 games)
When: Weekday evenings (5:45 start) & weekends
Season: Mid-April to Father’s Day Weekend

Minuteman
Eligibility: 8th, 9th and Age Eligible 10th graders (Turn 15 after April 30)
Purpose: 90’ diamond baseball! "local" travel league - playing towns such as Acton, Concord, Weston, Chelmsford.
Commitment: 3 days / week (1 practice during the week and 2 games on a weekend)
When: Weekday evenings & weekends
Season: Mid April to Early June
Location: Haskell & Feeley Fields
Challenger Division
Eligibility: Boys & Girls ages 6-22
Purpose: The Challenger Division is designed to provide children with disabilities who are ages 6-22 with the opportunity to play baseball in a comfortable and caring environment
Commitment: 1 day / week
When: Saturdays from 11:00-12:30
Season: End of April through Fathers Day
Location: Upper Featherland
